Great Food !

Many signs of rules for the establishment should be all the notice you need to ruin a fun ice stop with friends while sightseeing. Rude employees. No trash cans in idesignated outdoor eating area. Overpriced. Not an "ice cream parlor".

I had fried chicken. Comes with corn, creamed peas and mashed potatoes. Very good. Husband had chicken Alfredo and a salad. It also was good. Every day is a different special. Closed on Wednesday. I hear that the Philly cheese steak is wonderful. We will go back soon and try something else. Very friendly staff.

Very quiet little restaurant with home style cooking

I wish I could give 0 stars for this place. First of all I was charged $75 for 3 philly cheesesteak meals and 1 special 2 waters 2 cokes and a side salad. The service was horrible we waited an hour on our food. 3 tables came in and ate and were gone before us. We were over charged $15 on our food and our waitress couldn't tell us why. Will never ever go back. The only reason this place stays open is because they rip off travelers coming through. Please don't waste your money or time. Do yourself a favor..pass this place and go to Carvers Apple Orchard down the road. Their food is some better and they will not cheat you.

Great little place on the outskirts of the smokies. Food is very good, not too fussy but well made. Atmosphere is even better. The family makes every effort to make you feel at home. Recommended.

Is so good I can eat there for days it not that much as you think

We stopped here for ice cream. The place is amazing. The owners were so nice. We all got different flavors of ice cream, which we all enjoyed so much.

Great home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Owners treat you like family. Biker friendly. Jyst added an ice cream parlor too! Daily specials and cold beer. I always get the fried oysters! Very casual but comfortable place. Food is served on plastic plates and utensils which helps keep their costs low. The whole family works here. True mom and pop place.

Don’t hesitate to stop at the Magnolia Tree restaurant! We’re staying in Cosby this weekend for our children’s birthday celebration with the grands. After spending the morning hiking Peterson Loop we were all famished. We happened upon the Magnolia Tree and had a fabulous time! The food was AMAZING! Our group had turkey and pepper jack on white, ham and pepper jack on rye, and grilled cheese - ask for pepper relish, chicken and dumplings, steak and mushroom sandwich, etc. But the best part was being treated like family by the owners. They treated our kids with such kindness and love - talking with them and even treating them to cake and ice cream for their birthdays. The whole place was clean, had a changing table, and was nice to spend a while cooling off in. Give it a try!

A friendly and cozy place. The owner makes you feel so welcome. The food is delicious! A great place to go. This will be our spot.

This is a great restaurant to go get a meal at or ice cream for dessert. Which we did both. There wasn’t a lot of vegetarian options but we managed to find something to eat. They also have a nice little store inside the restaurant where we found some Birch Beer which we haven’t seen since we lived in Pennsylvania. I highly recommend going there if your in the area.

*This is not a review of the food, as I did not have a chance to taste it.*Drove out this way to try some good food, heard lots of good things about this place. But disappointed to see they were closed today even though it was listed as being open online...Same as the BBQ joint on the same road right up the highway. Not sure why none of them are open right now, especially with it being a weekend? It is a bummer for sure to say they are open and arrive and not be able to get food.They need to update their hours online if they have changed. Business owners have the ability to go in and edit their My Google Business Listing info. Might be good to call ahead of time in the future.

This place has amazing food!

Great place to eat. We are locals and took my mom and family to eat for her birthday. They are always friendly and food is great.

FINALLY!!! Someone who knows how to make a cheese steak sandwich. Being from NJ I've been to many places in TN looking for a decent Cheese Steak. Finally found it. Delicious. Hey, this is the way it's made. Awesome job Magnolia Tree.

If you come here, (which you should) make sure you try the cheese steak. It's the best I've ever had.

The food was excellent and the service was good. This is out of the way but worthwhile. The Greek hot dog were great, the hamburger was so good and way too may fries. I recommend this place if you are in Cosby Tennessee.

Little gem in Smokey Mountains. Locals know best indeed! Had an absolutely awesome food and great desert. Bathroom was clean and the staff was very friendly!

Wish we would have found this place sooner on our Vacation. Absolutely amazing food and service. Cheesesteak had to weigh 5lbs. Best I’ve ever had.

The Magnolia Tree is one of those restaurants that if you are not looking for it, you can easily pass it by without notice. This quaint place is tucked away just slightly off the road in a slope along US 321. It's like a TARDIS in it's own right as the inside is definitely bigger than it looks in the parking lot. Inside you will find a restaurant to the left, ice cream shop in front, & gift store to the right & straight back. Service was slow but not terrible. I am fairly certain that there may have been three to four people total running the entire place while we were there which might explain the speed of things. The food itself was alright. It was like any other country cooking I have eaten at other southern places with prices just slightly higher than them. It's a cute place to stop in at but not something I see myself returning to in the near future.Note: Wait to be seated & Pay at the front

On vacation and was treated like family. The pot roast was delicious! The ice cream was a nice finish to a delicious meal.

This was my favorite part of our trip. I walked in and they make you feel like family. Best place, best homemade food and the best experience. They close for the winter so I am so glad I drove past here and decided to stop. I didn't want to leave. I was excited about my Amish cookbook I bought.

What a nice homely place. Food was good, severed as ordered and cooked well. Cheesesteak was a real hit with a few members of our party! Chicken tenders were also awesome! I’d recommend both of those. Ice cream shop for dessert here too! I had the sweet water IPA and it was to my liking. Quaint, somewhat authentic, good service , friendly family owned business. Absolutely love to support these types of places. Super clean restroom, single person .

We love this little restaurant. And the owners are the best. This is a small family owned restaurant. I always try to support local, American owned & operated small businesses. Within a couple visits you will feel like family. The country decorations is very creative & tastefully done. There is also a s little gift shop with a section for local products. (within 20 miles) We visit the Smoky's every year. Each time we are there we are there we make at least one trip out to Cosby to the Magnolia Tree. I usually order a Reuben. They make a great one. This restaurant is popular with whitewater rafters, and motorcycle riders.

Hotdog and fries was good. Chicken was dry and burnt. Cute place very clean and nice staff.

This place was a little gem. The food was awesome, and the owners were so nice. Philly cheese steak was awesome and humongous! We will be back next time we are in Tennessee.

This place is very tasty with a great staff and great prices. The food is fresh. My daughter's cheeseburger was the best cheeseburger I have ever had. The hot dogs were great. Very tasty. Drive from Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg to eat here!

We have eaten here several times. It is a great place to come for a meal. They are open daily except for Wednesdays. The staff our attentive and friendly. They have daily specials as well as a varied menu. Desserts are also available. The beef brisket is amazing, it melts in your mouth. So tender and flavorful. I have not found anything that I didn't like. Its a must when you are in Cosby Tennessee.

A great place to eat, reasonable prices and a friendly staff. Easy to miss if your not watching, (we had to turn around.) The staff told us about some motorcycling roads we didnt know about, so we've got to try those. Would definitely recommend.

Great find! Small, hole in the wall type place! This family owned restaurant and store are serving up not only tasty, HOME MADE food, but also hospitality like no other! Stopped by on the way from Gatlinburg to my home town in South Carolina and I couldn't have asked for better food or service! I love the little ordering window and the decor! A must stop if you're looking for a LOCAL gem!

I absolutely loved this place, it beats most almost all mainstream food joints. If I am ever around this part of Tennessee I will always recommend this place and go there my self!
